RURAL AREAS FACE A SHORTAGE OF DOCTORS

Posted By Bradley Maged On July 21, 2007 @ 7:49 am In Uncategorized | No Comments

According to an Associated Press article that appears in today’s [1] Washington Post: “A national shortage of doctors is hitting poor places the hardest, and efforts to bring in foreign physicians to fill the gap are running into a knot of restrictions from the war on terror and the immigration debate.”

Looks like we continue to shoot ourselves in the foot with our failed immigration policies, and we now lack the doctors to bandage the wound.
