NO UPDATE ON USCIS RECEIPTING AS OF YET
August 10, 2007 by Bradley Maged.
I apologize for the multiple posts on the sane subject today. I am out of the country and using an Apple computer and I am having to make some minor adjustments to post blog entries.
In any event, in its last Update regardng Receipting, the USCIS stated there would be weekly updates. That was on August 3rd and today is August 10th. Maybe a new Update will be coming out later or perhaps “weekly” was just an approximation. I’ll keep my eyes open for it and will post the Update when it becomes available.

USCIS CORRECTED ITS AUGUST 3 UPDATE REGARDING RECEIPTING
August 10, 2007 by Bradley Maged.
The USCIS coorected its August 3rd Update regarding the date before which the Nebraska Service Center was issuing Receipt Notices for I-485 Applications. The Update originally stated that cases received on or before July 11, 2007 were being issued receipts. Without much fanfare, this date was changed to July 1, 2007.
Another Update should be out today as the USCIS stated it would be issuing them weekly. I will keep you posted.
