USCIS OFFICE OF FRAUD DETECTION AND NATIONAL SECURITY UNANNOUNCED SITE VISITS FOR H-1B EMPLOYERS

Posted By Bradley Maged On October 1, 2009 @ 11:43 am In Uncategorized | No Comments

The USCIS Office of Fraud Detection and National Security (FDNS) has commenced unannounced site visits of H-1B employers in an effort to combat perceived H-1B fraud.  If your company is the subject of such an investigation, immigration counsel should be contacted to be present in person or, if that is not possible, by telephone.

Because these visits are unannounced, it would be wise for H-1B employers to get in touch with their immigration attorney to prepare for a possible surprise visit.
