The August Visa Bulletin has been posted (see link to the left). Although no EB numbers are available for August, the following note is found on the bulletin:
D. JULY EMPLOYMENT-BASED VISA AVAILABILITY
After consulting with Citizenship and Immigration Services, the Visa Office advises readers that Visa Bulletin #107 (dated June 12) should be relied upon as the current July Visa Bulletin for purposes of determining Employment visa number availability, and that Visa Bulletin #108 (dated July 2) is hereby withdrawn.
This is the first official word, and it’s great news! Let’s see what the USCIS announcement states. What a relief!
so is the deadline 7/31 or 8/17…?
I’m not sure yet. It looks like it’s at least 7/31/07 but perhaps the USCIS announcement will extend it due to the delay they caused with the July 2 announcement.
good news finally
Will the applications submitted in the beginning of the month be accepted, or will applicants have to submit new ones? Thank you, and congratulations for the blog. It’s a reliable source of information and insights about immigration. Keep up the good work.
Yes. Applications with priority dates that were current in July and were filed in July will be accepted.
