HUNDREDS OF IMMIGRATION CASES BEING DISMISSED

According to an article on chron.com, in response to directives from the Department of Homeland Security:  “in the month after Homeland Security officials started a review of Houston’s immigration court docket, immigration judges dismissed more than 200 cases, an increase of more than 700 percent from the prior month, new data shows.”

This is good news at it allows immigration courts and government agencies to focus their limited resources on those who pose the greatest potential threat to the country, such as violent criminals.
