H-1B CAP COUNT (12/1/10)

According to the USCIS, as of December 1st, 2010, the agency has received 50,400 out of 65,000 available cap-subject H-1B petitions for FY-2011 and 18,400 out of 20,000 available petitions under the H-1B Master’s Cap Exemption.

Numbers are expected to run out in the next few months so if you are an employer or foreign-national who wants to start working in H-1B status upon H-1B petition approval, as my father always said, “move it or lose it!”
