SUPREME COURT SIDES MOSTLY WITH U.S. IN ARIZONA IMMIGRATION LAW RULING

According to an article on cnn.com:  “The U.S. Supreme Court ruled largely in favor of the federal government Monday in a case involving Arizona’s immigration law, but it upheld the most controversial provision involving police checks on people’s immigration status while enforcing other laws.”

Avoiding a free for all with each state enacting its own immigration laws is a good thing.  Federal immigration laws are complex enough as they stand and need to be reformed to be more in line with the country’s needs and core values.
