KRISTINA ROST OF MAGED ROST SELECTED AS ONE OF MASSACHUSETTS LAWYERS WEEKLY’S 2014 TOP WOMEN OF LAW

Maged Rost is proud to announce that Kristina Rost, founding partner of the firm, was named one of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2014 Top Women of Law.  This award celebrates legal educators, trailblazers and role models who have demonstrated outstanding  accomplishments in their chosen fields.

Kristina is one of 54 women who join the ranks of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s honorees who have been recognized over the past six years.  When Kristina immigrated from Russia, she barely spoke English and when attending law school had both a Black’s Law Dictionary and an English Russian dictionary on hand at all times so she would not only learn the legal concepts, but the language.  Since founding Maged Rost in October 2000, she has helped the firm grow into one of Boston’s most respected boutique immigration firms, where her practice ranges from helping undocumented minors to remain in the country to representing large corporations with their business immigration needs to obtaining permanent residence for high net worth investors who help to create American jobs.

Kristina is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, an organization where she has both served on and chaired various national and chapter committees.  Throughout the years, she has volunteered and lectured for countless community organizations and Continuing Legal Education seminars and has written dozens of articles on Immigration Law and Practice.

A reception honoring the outstanding Top Women of Law for 2014 will be held at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston on October 23, 2014 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.  Registration information can be found here.
